We stayed here two nights in the summer and enjoyed it a lot. The owner made breakfast and hung out with us during that time: day 1 was tasty savory sausage omelets; because of timing we requested a continental on day 2, which was bagels and banana muffins. Both days were with fresh fruit salad and coffee. Everything was great and it was excellent that she customized it for us.

The place is nice: the backyard is a big open space with an eating area and small fountain, and the decor is definitely not old or stodgy (especially compared to other nearby options). Kitchener may not be a main tourism hub but you'll definitely be able to relax if you stay here.

I stayed 9 nights at this beautiful oasis...I had never been to Ontario, Canada...so felt this Bed and Breakfast would allow me to explore many directions. The first night we were treated to homemade wine on the patio with conversation with owners Eleanora and Dave.
The room was lovely - beautiful view of the back yard - water feature, large growth trees and a feeling like in a true forest without anyone else around.
Sitting on the patio/deck...you can be entertained by the colorful squirrels...
Breakfast is always delicious! She takes special requests for vegetarians/vegans, etc. Just let her know in advance. I appreciated the daily large quantity of a mixed fruit bowl followed by an omelet, pancakes, French toast, quinoa cereal, to name a few. It's enjoyable to receive a first class breakfast every morning.
If you need help as to where to go and what to see...be sure you ask. Eleanora is a long time resident of the area and knows where to eat dinner and what to see.
It was warm while  I visited, so I  appreciated the air conditioning!
The home and yard are truly tranquil! Thank you Eleanora & Dave for your hospitality!

What a relaxing and gorgeous B&B tucked away on a quiet forest like residential street! Eleanora was a gracious host and she and her husband Dave made us feel right at home. The private ensuites were clean and cosy with a welcoming beverage and treats in a nearby fridge. Breakfast was hearty and we thoroughly enjoyed it on their beautiful patio as Eleanora waited on us with such expertise. The backyard was an oasis of peacefulness and natural beauty with the sounds of the trickling waterfall and birds. We couldn't have asked for a better get away so close to many local attractions. Thanks Eleanora & Dave for making our anniversary get away a memorable one!!

If ever you find yourself needing a relaxing retreat or as I did, a 26 day short-stay home-away-from-home during a relocation, then look no further than the Forest Hill B&B in Kitchener. Not only are the forested gardens, with pond, immaculately maintained by Eleanora but her warm hearted smile welcomes you like family, into her comfortably home. From beautifully appointed rooms to your delicious breakfasts, you cannot help but fall into relaxation mode. And if that isn't enough, just ask her about "George C." Eleanora along with her husband, Dave, were fabulous hosts from the moment I arrived and there to assist me as I found my way around the Kitchener area. This location is a "gem" and I'm sure that you will not be disappointed.

A beautiful, tasteful home in a lovely wooded, very quiet neighbourhood. A large, very comfortable room with homey touches, my husband and I enjoyed a wonderful sleep. Upon waking we toddled out to the back patio and had a wonderful breakfast with 2 other couples. Great conversation and an even greater hostess and host we were suitably impressed with the whole experience. If the opportunity arises we will definitely return and highly recommend to anyone visiting Kitchener. Plus they have an adorable dog as well.

A relaxing stay

What a relaxing place to stay! We adored the beautiful backyard forest oasis and The Forest Hill
View Suite was a clean and comfortable room. The wifi worked great, and the massage chair was
quite a treat after an eight-hour drive. Eleanora was a sweetheart, friendly helpful and always
professional. The breakfast was hearty, healthy and delicious. We sincerely enjoyed our stay at
The Forest Hill Bed and Breakfast, and would highly recommend it!

We stayed at Forest Hill B&B for the victoria weekend 2012. I can't say how much I enjoyed the experience. It's a great great home with a huge deck that we stayed and worked on it for many hours. It's located in an upscale neighbourhood which begs you to take a walk in it! Eleanora and her husband are very friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable. They accommodated our early arrival by having another room ready for us while we were waiting, made delicious breakfasts (she is a professional cook with many years of experience) and made sure the snack bar (a mini-fridge of soft drinks and various healthy and sweet snacks) was always well-stocked. I am not a big fan of dogs in general, but the "spoiled" dog (as Eleanora and her husband call it!) in that home was different than the other dogs I've seen. I think I liked her! And I really enjoyed our conversations with Eleanora and her husband. They even made us get a feeling of the community by introducing us to a lovely neighbour of theirs. In short, great relaxing and enjoyable weekend. I know I'd like to go back for sure!

Forest Hill B&B; was a lovely oasis. The setting was quiet and peaceful, the rooms well
appointed and comfortable. Our hosts were very welcoming and obviously enjoy spending time
meeting and chatting with their guests. Eleanora made a superb, plentiful breakfast and was even
able to accomodate food allergies. If opportunity presents itself we will definitely return.

Diane from Ottawa, 1 May 2012

Forest Hill is a great place to staty, I highly recommend staying here to anyone. Its a beautiful place to stay and you dont even feel like your in the city. Eleanora is a great host and cook. Definitely would stay again.

Pictures are worth a 1000 words they say! This B&B; lived up to the pictures and more. The
owners greeted us at the front door with a warm welcome. The room we stayed in had a queen
size bed and ensuite. Very nicely decorated and clean. Plush soft towels and a little snack alcove
with beverages and dry snacks were available - a nice little touch. In the morning we enjoyed the
company of the owners and one other guest - great conversation and an excellent, tasty breakfast.
They have a beautiful backyard which you can enjoy through big beautiful windows. When the
nice weather hits, breakfast is served on the deck outside.

_What a total treat this was. We have stayed at many fine B&B's and this one rates right up with the very best. Eleanora is a warm and giving person and nothing was too much for her. Our room was warm and cozy on a cold December night and the breakfast room was the perfect place to start the day. The food was tasty and generous, the kind that allows you to skip lunch. We will recommend Forest Hill B&B and we will return another time. Maybe we can meet Dave next time.

_The Sniders, from Southampton, Ontario 22 December 2011

We stayed at Forest Hill Bed and Breakfast while attending the Federation of Ontario Bed & Breakfasts this November. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Our room was spacious, very clean, and had a view of the woods. Breakfast included lots of fruit and pancakes, and was served in the dining area overlooking the nicely treed surroundings but conveniently located right in town.
We got lost on a very dark rainy night and Eleanora and David were very helpful and drove us to and from the conference.

We would recommend this Bed and Breakfast for all types of travel.
