This was by far our most enjoyable B&B overnight. We were made feel ever so pampered by the hostess Eleanor and our master suite was very large and clean. The bed was oh so comfy and there is a wonderful view of a beautiful back yard and neighbourhood from the bedroom window. We were provided with snacks , drinks and chocolates and a glass of wine was offered to us on arrival not to mention the friendship offered as we shared a sip together. A delicious breakfast, tastefully prepared and served at Eleanor's table overlooks their fishpond which was laden with beautifully coloured freshly fallen autumn leaves. Thank you Eleanor for the bouquet of Hydrangia - they will grace our home and serve as a good memory of your lovely home and garden and of the friendship made. We enjoyed your stories and felt as though we had met Dave - hopefully next time. And thanks for making us feel young again - we are in our 70's and 80' !! Ilene and Bob

“Better than a hotel!!”
What can I say about this B&B? It was absolutely perfect for us! We
needed a close to home get a way and this was the perfect spot for it!
The house host was a joy to talk with and the grounds and rooms so comfy
and inviting. The bed was fantastic as was the massage chair! :) The in
room electric fireplace was a wonderful romantic touch to the suite.
The complimentary snack center was a huge bonus! I would totally
recommend this B&B to anyone and everyone looking for a place to
stay either for a night or a week!! Oh! I forgot to mention the
breakfast! It was lovely and the coffee was the best I have had in a
long time! Thank you so much for everything!!! See you again soon!

“My Place in Waterloo!”
This was a great spot, and I loved hanging out chatting with the
fabulous hostess Eleanora! The room overlooking the koi pond had a
calming affect on me, and I have stayed there twice, always choosing the
same room. Breakfast was fabulous, and she made me a vegetarian
delight! Highly highly recommended if you like to feel at home, with
extremely friendly hosts, in a lovely setting. The only place I will
stay when I am in Waterloo!

Forest Hill is a place to call home. Spacious, cozy, and welcoming. I have stayed there twice this year. Once during a spring snowstorm, then again in July to escort my daughter home after she spent one year as a student in Kitchener. Eleanora makes her guests feel at home. Breakfast is amazing, and the wine in the evening shared with other guests creates a memorable trip. Can't wait to return to Forest Hill next year!

If you are looking for a great place to stay in Kitchener then go to the Forest Hill B&B. Eleanora and Dave make you feel welcome and at home. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean with an ensuite. It was so nice to be served a delicious breakfast outside under the back deck awning while listening to the trickle of water from the fish pond and watching the birds and squirrels partake of their breakfast too!! Rest, relax and enjoy the tranquility!!

My husband and myself were celebrating 18 years of Marriage and needed an escape from our hectic lives. Eleanore met us as we pulled up with a smile. As this was our first B&B experience we were dazzled as we set foot inside as the home is tasteful and warm. We were blown away by our large room and ensuite. Sitting outside in the evening and breakfast was delightful. Homemade waffles with strawberries and whip cream and berries and yoghurt parfait was wonderful. Wifi was helpful, Their Massage Chair was amazing!! This B&B will be highly recommended to friends and family. Thanks again Eleanore & Dave you were devine;)

We made this reservation last minute and couldn't be happier. The room was perfectly inviting with a desk for doing emails, free wifi, a comfortable bed facing a big screen TV with library of movies. The bathroom was also graciously thought out with table for my toiletries. Our breadfast was so delicious with my Earl Grey in a musical teapot. Eleonor and Dave and dog Cloe were a relaxing team. We too have never done B and B because of needing real quietness if ever away, but this was perfect. Eleoner and Dave even kindly wrapped up the delicious homemade teabiscuits to have on our journey.

Forest Hill Bed and Breakfast is a little gem tucked away in a quiet
residential neighborhood in Kitchener. I found it warm and inviting, affordable, and my hosts, Eleanora and Dave so attentive to my needs -- whether it was a gluten-free breakfast, a friendly ear, or where to find the best places to walk nearby and take a few photos. My room was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable with an adjoining ensuite and Wi-Fi so I could keep in touch with friends and family on the road.
I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a short-term or long-stay option while visiting in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.

We and an ancient mariner had a most enjoyable stay in this beautiful and peaceful spot. Eleanora and Dave were the most generous and conscientious of hosts, as well as good company and a mine of useful information. Your home away from home doesn't really do Eleanora's byword justice - you don't get treated as well at home!! Huge breakfasts and peaceful nights; what more could you want from a B&B? Whatever it is, you will find it here. We'll certainly be back given the opportunity.

The roomy basement suite was very comfortable we also enjoyed the outdoor dining room with a beautiful view of woods and waterfall. Eleanora and Dave are the most thoughtful and genial of hosts--looking forward to a return visit!

Forest Hill B&B had pristine accommodations, very ideal location, but especially good service! I have stayed in hotels, villas, and B&Bs all over the world, and this ranks as my top experience. I had just come back to Canada from a one week business trip in Denver, where I was put up in a very nice hotel. My weekend at Forest Hill, however, was like a breath of fresh air. We were treated like family here.

This Bed and Breakfast is nestled in a quiet and peaceful Kitchener neighborhood within a short distance of the cities major amenities. The rooms are a perfect and tranquil escape from a busy life, clean, roomy and quiet.
Eleanora is warm, graceful, and a very welcoming hostess, offering the tastiest breakfasts along with great company and conversation at breakfast. The backyard is an oasis of tranquility with a great outdoor patio for breakfast in the warmer months while her homey kitchen too offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We've visited twice now and each time is like visitng a home away from home. We highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast!

What more can I say. Visit Forest Hill and see for yourself. We did and
enjoyed every minute. We stayed with Eleanora and Dave while we were waiting
for our home to be finished. We stayed for 2 months and were very well taken
care of. We wanted for nothing. Anything you requested was taken care of
without delay. Breakfast was always tasty and nutritious. Fresh fruit cup was
always served and we certainly enjoyed it very much. Our accommodations were
clean and comfortable. My husband and I would strongly recommend this Bed and
Breakfast if you would like to feel at home away from home.

This B and B is in thee nicest neighbourhood in Kitchener! A beautiful home
with all of the modern conveniences you could want. Eleanora and her husband
were 2 of the sweetest hosts you'll ever meet too! We stayed in the green room,
which had tonnes of space, immaculately clean with a fantastic ensuite.
Overlooking their beautiful backyard. An extra highlight for us was the small
stocked fridge and snacks in the hallway, which was right out our door. It was
so thoughtful and convenient when you just need some water or juice without
having to disturb anyone else in the house. The price was just right, and we
would definatly consider staying there again, if needed in the KW area. Highly
recommended for all!

My wife and me stayed in this perfect B&B on Oct 14th and 15th. The house, in a quite zone, is very nice, there are very large rooms, confortable and with all amenities you can desire in a B&B. The very friendly welcome We received from Eleanora made our stay simply perfect. She helped us to choose the best restaurants and was a pleasure to talk to her after a day of visiting.
Paolo, from Torino, Italy 16 October 2012
We stayed here two nights in the summer and enjoyed it a lot. The owner made breakfast and hung out with us during that time: day 1 was tasty savory sausage omelets; because of timing we requested a continental on day 2, which was bagels and banana muffins. Both days were with fresh fruit salad and coffee. Everything was great and it was excellent that she customized it for us.
The place is nice: the backyard is a big open space with an eating area and small fountain, and the decor is definitely not old or stodgy (especially compared to other nearby options). Kitchener may not be a main tourism hub but you'll definitely be able to relax if you stay here.

I stayed 9 nights at this beautiful oasis...I had never been to Ontario, Canada...so felt this Bed and Breakfast would allow me to explore many directions. The first night we were treated to homemade wine on the patio with conversation with owners Eleanora and Dave.
The room was lovely - beautiful view of the back yard - water feature, large growth trees and a feeling like in a true forest without anyone else around.
Sitting on the patio/deck...you can be entertained by the colorful squirrels...
Breakfast is always delicious! She takes special requests for vegetarians/vegans, etc. Just let her know in advance. I appreciated the daily large quantity of a mixed fruit bowl followed by an omelet, pancakes, French toast, quinoa cereal, to name a few. It's enjoyable to receive a first class breakfast every morning.
If you need help as to where to go and what to see...be sure you ask. Eleanora is a long time resident of the area and knows where to eat dinner and what to see.
It was warm while I visited, so I appreciated the air conditioning!
The home and yard are truly tranquil! Thank you Eleanora & Dave for your hospitality!

What a relaxing and gorgeous B&B tucked away on a quiet forest like residential street! Eleanora was a gracious host and she and her husband Dave made us feel right at home. The private ensuites were clean and cosy with a welcoming beverage and treats in a nearby fridge. Breakfast was hearty and we thoroughly enjoyed it on their beautiful patio as Eleanora waited on us with such expertise. The backyard was an oasis of peacefulness and natural beauty with the sounds of the trickling waterfall and birds. We couldn't have asked for a better get away so close to many local attractions. Thanks Eleanora & Dave for making our anniversary get away a memorable one!!

If ever you find yourself needing a relaxing retreat or as I did, a 26 day short-stay home-away-from-home during a relocation, then look no further than the Forest Hill B&B in Kitchener. Not only are the forested gardens, with pond, immaculately maintained by Eleanora but her warm hearted smile welcomes you like family, into her comfortably home. From beautifully appointed rooms to your delicious breakfasts, you cannot help but fall into relaxation mode. And if that isn't enough, just ask her about "George C." Eleanora along with her husband, Dave, were fabulous hosts from the moment I arrived and there to assist me as I found my way around the Kitchener area. This location is a "gem" and I'm sure that you will not be disappointed.

A beautiful, tasteful home in a lovely wooded, very quiet neighbourhood. A large, very comfortable room with homey touches, my husband and I enjoyed a wonderful sleep. Upon waking we toddled out to the back patio and had a wonderful breakfast with 2 other couples. Great conversation and an even greater hostess and host we were suitably impressed with the whole experience. If the opportunity arises we will definitely return and highly recommend to anyone visiting Kitchener. Plus they have an adorable dog as well.

What a relaxing place to stay! We adored the beautiful backyard forest oasis and The Forest Hill
View Suite was a clean and comfortable room. The wifi worked great, and the massage chair was
quite a treat after an eight-hour drive. Eleanora was a sweetheart, friendly helpful and always
professional. The breakfast was hearty, healthy and delicious. We sincerely enjoyed our stay at
The Forest Hill Bed and Breakfast, and would highly recommend it!

We stayed at Forest Hill B&B for the victoria weekend 2012. I can't say how much I enjoyed the experience. It's a great great home with a huge deck that we stayed and worked on it for many hours. It's located in an upscale neighbourhood which begs you to take a walk in it! Eleanora and her husband are very friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable. They accommodated our early arrival by having another room ready for us while we were waiting, made delicious breakfasts (she is a professional cook with many years of experience) and made sure the snack bar (a mini-fridge of soft drinks and various healthy and sweet snacks) was always well-stocked. I am not a big fan of dogs in general, but the "spoiled" dog (as Eleanora and her husband call it!) in that home was different than the other dogs I've seen. I think I liked her! And I really enjoyed our conversations with Eleanora and her husband. They even made us get a feeling of the community by introducing us to a lovely neighbour of theirs. In short, great relaxing and enjoyable weekend. I know I'd like to go back for sure!

Forest Hill B&B; was a lovely oasis. The setting was quiet and peaceful, the rooms well

Pictures are worth a 1000 words they say! This B&B; lived up to the pictures and more. The
owners greeted us at the front door with a warm welcome. The room we stayed in had a queen
size bed and ensuite. Very nicely decorated and clean. Plush soft towels and a little snack alcove
with beverages and dry snacks were available - a nice little touch. In the morning we enjoyed the
company of the owners and one other guest - great conversation and an excellent, tasty breakfast.
They have a beautiful backyard which you can enjoy through big beautiful windows. When the
nice weather hits, breakfast is served on the deck outside.

We stayed at Forest Hill Bed and Breakfast while attending the Federation of Ontario Bed & Breakfasts this November. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Our room was spacious, very clean, and had a view of the woods. Breakfast included lots of fruit and pancakes, and was served in the dining area overlooking the nicely treed surroundings but conveniently located right in town.
We got lost on a very dark rainy night and Eleanora and David were very helpful and drove us to and from the conference.
We would recommend this Bed and Breakfast for all types of travel.
